Big News from j and the 9s!
The colorful and unstoppable glam punk band j and the 9s made a special announcement this Monday evening on The Rodent Hour on Radio Free Brooklyn and again on their Instagram. 2017 has been a significant group for the band, which features j9 on vocals and flute and Beatz on drums. This year has been full of countless festivals, SXSW performances, Vans Warped Tour, followed by the independent release of their latest EP the terrible twos this August.
The band has proved time and time again that they are game for new experiences on and off the road. While it is evident that a New York spirit is part of their musical and stylistic flair, the two announced that they will be relocating to California following special engagements in England and a cross-country US tour. The two will be bringing their Brooklyn bite of rock 'n roll where ever they go but here at Ethos Live we wish them the best of luck in their new home.
Spot them at the Lancaster Music Festival with their pinkies up where they will be playing seven shows across four dates! Following their return to the US, they will be kicking off their US tour on Thursday, November 2nd at Otto's Shrunken Head in Manhattan, NY.
For more announcements about their dates in England and the US this fall, follow the band's emailing list at their official website, as well as on Bandsintown and on their social media.
